All About Michael
Hi, I'm Michael.
Welcome to my professional portfolio.
I am a student at Durham College's Whitby Campus in the Horticulture: Food and Farming program.
In this portfolio, I am showing the work I have completed to date that will contribute to my future goals. My work philosophy is presented under the "Introduction" tab. You can learn more about my personal urban farm, access my resume and cover letter, and view my SMART goals under the "Professional Dev." tab. My educational highlights and relevant training are covered under "Education & Training". References and notes of appreciation for my work can be viewed under "Testimonials & References". I have also covered in-depth my two summers' worth of volunteer work at a local community garden under the "Volunteer" tab (click on "More..." to view).
When not doing school-related activities or helping out around the house, I can be found starting seedlings in my basement plant room (in the months of February to May), tending to my indoor herbs and plants, or outside gardening.
I enjoy many hobbies, including reading fiction and manga, cooking/baking, sewing, watching anime or other shows/movies online, playing board games with family members and friends, telling silly jokes, and cuddling my cats. Although I am not a huge fan of exercise, I do make it a priority to visit the gym regularly (or try to, at least... ).
